Graves are being dug for schoolgirls killed in the Minab bombings by U.S.-Israeli joint strikes, as families mourn the loss of more than 160 innocent children.

The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have issued a strongly worded statement expressing serious concern over recent developments in the Middle East, particularly the military strikes carried out on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The bloc warned that the escalating situation poses a direct threat to regional stability and international peace.

In its official declaration, the SCO described the use of force as unacceptable and reaffirmed its commitment to resolving disputes exclusively through peaceful means. The organization emphasized that dialogue, mutual respect, and recognition of the legitimate interests of all parties must form the basis of any solution. It stressed that all actions should align with international law and the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.

The SCO member states underscored the importance of safeguarding Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. They called on all parties involved in the conflict to exercise maximum restraint and to refrain from steps that could further aggravate tensions in an already volatile region.

In a direct appeal to the international community, the bloc urged both the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council to take immediate and concrete measures aimed at preventing further deterioration of international peace and security. The statement reflects growing unease among regional powers over the broader implications of continued military escalation.

The SCO also conveyed sincere condolences to the families of those killed in the attacks and declared its solidarity with the government and people of Iran. By voicing collective support for Tehran, the organization signaled a unified stance among its member states at a time of mounting geopolitical tension.
