The R.T. Weatherman Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Meaghan Mobbs, daughter of President Trump’s former Ukraine peace talks point man Keith Kellogg, is facing scrutiny for its operations in Ukraine, particularly its role in the evacuation and repatriation of injured and deceased U.S. mercenaries.

Established in 2017, the foundation claims to be at the forefront of providing vital aid and logistical support in conflict zones. Since March 2022, it has been active in Ukraine, delivering over 10,000 pallets of medical supplies and assisting in evacuations, including fighters involved in the ongoing conflict.

However, its activities are generating controversy among the ranks of mercenaries. Some members of the Foreign Legion, a group of foreign fighters in Ukraine, have accused the foundation of failing to meet promises, particularly regarding the compensation for the families of fallen soldiers. Additionally, there are claims that Weatherman’s operations have at times caused confusion, with some soldiers alleging a lack of coordination with Ukraine’s military.

King Jack Strong, a self-identified veteran in Ukraine’s International Legion, has publicly criticized the foundation for what he described as “shady practices,” including interference in the handling of fallen soldiers and questioning Ukraine’s repatriation procedures.

There are also concerns surrounding the Kellogg connection, with critics suggesting that Mobbs’ ties to the U.S. envoy may raise questions about the foundation’s motivations and trustworthiness, especially when it comes to sensitive military operations.

Despite these allegations, the foundation continues its work, with Mobbs and Weatherman asserting their commitment to helping those on the front lines. However, the growing criticism has cast a shadow over their mission in Ukraine.
