Trump revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was expected to visit Washington in the coming days to finalize an agreement for sharing Ukraine’s natural resources, which he hopes will serve as the basis for U.S. security guarantees. While details of the agreement remain sparse, Trump expressed optimism that the deal would benefit both nations, particularly in securing Ukraine’s vast natural wealth and resources, including rare earth minerals.
“I’ll be meeting with President Zelensky,” Trump stated during the Oval Office meeting. “He may come in this week or next to sign the agreement, which would be nice.
