According to the circulating reports, the child was employed at an egg business in the Siyambalagahawatta area near the junction between Dangedara and Sarentukade. Allegations suggest the minor was accused of stealing gold items and was forced to confess before being assaulted. The incident has raised serious concerns regarding workplace exploitation and unlawful treatment of minors.
