As the war in West Asia between Israel/USA on the one hand and Iran on the other appears to be coming to an end, discerning observers all over the world would think that this war is entirely avoidable and only reflects the fact that the leadership of the three countries involved in the war have hollowness in their thought processes.

Historically, the world has witnessed several small and large wars over centuries, which have inevitably ended without solving any issues but, on the other hand, have only led to more wars and paved the way for lasting bitterness and conflict.

The animosity between Israel and Iran has existed for several decades, with Iran taking a pledge to wipe Israel off the world map and the issue consequently becoming one of life and death for Israel, with Israel determined to defeat Iran militarily at any cost.

While it is apparent to everyone that neither Iran can ultimately destroy Israel nor Israel can destroy Iran, the leadership of both countries seems to think otherwise.

This unending Israel–Iran conflict has been going on for several years, and the world has taken it for granted and started viewing it as a regional conflict with no solution in sight, as the leadership of both countries appears to lack a positive vision.

In the present West Asia war, the entry of the USA has made it a conflict that has impacted the entire world, upsetting the global economy and trade practices. Many people inevitably think that the thought process of the leadership of the USA is not very different from that of the leadership of Israel and Iran, with the US President frequently making statements such as that Iran would be wiped out.

What remained a regional conflict was converted into a conflict with global impact by US involvement. As the war appears to be coming to an end, with all three countries involved becoming tired and desiring a way out, the net result is that none has gained, while other countries in the world have suffered enormously for no fault of their own.

While Israel and Iran have traditional bitterness, with the leadership of both countries excessively and unwisely relying on their military capabilities, the question is why the USA got involved in this war. The war is not on US soil, and the US is not directly involved in this conflict, as seen by others.

Obviously, the US leadership wishfully and erroneously believes that the US has the right to get involved in any issue across the world, as it seems to think it was created to police the world. The US has gone to the extent of blockading the Strait of Hormuz to shipping activity, throttling ship movement in the name of forcing Iran to surrender. Such acts by US leadership can be viewed by discerning observers as the height of superiority complex and a blind belief in its own muscle power to dictate global affairs and to assume that world events can be shaped only through force and hegemony.

At present, such conflicts and wars are not restricted to Iran and Israel/US alone but are happening in several other regions, such as the Russia–Ukraine war and so on. All these wars are also a result of the hollowness of the thought processes of the leadership of the countries and regions involved, who are so short-sighted and fail to recognize that human life lasts only for a few decades and that killing one another for the realization of goals reflects the height of stupidity.

Historians will judge this West Asia war as a reflection of the hollowness in the thought processes of the leadership of the countries involved, lacking maturity, global responsibility, and concern for the suffering of the world community.

This West Asia war has caused no conclusive results, just as no war in history has produced truly conclusive outcomes. All that the world can hope for is that God bestows upon world leaders the ability to think and act with wisdom.
