“Go Kamala go,” say the Democrats

How 59-year-old Harris views the world and how the world views her is not only on her mind.

Democrats have taken another step toward formally nominating Vice President Kamala Harris for President, with the rules committee for the party’s National Convention setting up August 1, 2024, as the date that delegates are likely to begin voting.

Nobody has, up to now, been picked as her running Vice Presidential nominee.

However, Kamala Harris has said: “Donald Trump wants to take our country backwards, to a time before many of our fellow Americans had full freedoms and rights.”

Her line of attack includes issues like abortion rights, the rule of law, and economic fairness, which are vulnerable to her Republican nominee, Donald Trump, as Democrats have rallied around her after President Joe Biden’s decision to drop his bid for re-election.

Vice President Harris has already secured the support of enough Democratic delegates at the Democratic Convention in Chicago on August 19, 2024, to become her party’s nominee, while funds and support have been flooding in.

From cutting ribbons to counting votes, the race for the Presidency is now on, with just over 100 days until Election Day, November 5, 2024. It will take 270 electoral votes to win the coveted Presidency.

But the next step is more uphill: beating Donald Trump. Unless something extraordinary happens, some polls show Trump edging Harris by 2 percent.

The seven battleground “swing states” Kamala Harris is targeting are Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.

How she is seen by world leaders like Vladimir Putin is another question. Change is in the making not only in the US but around the world.

How 59-year-old Harris views the world and how the world views her is not only on her mind.

She is expected by world leaders to remain consistent with President Biden’s policies on China, Ukraine, and her meeting in Washington with Israel’s Netanyahu speaks diplomatic volumes.

If elected, everyone is going to be keeping a watchful eye on her stance on major foreign policy matters, particularly concerning countries. Where she stands on China, India, Israel, Ukraine, and Russia is already being contemplated by political analysts.
