President-elect Donald Trump has issued a stark warning that the United States is closer than ever to World War III under the current administration. Speaking on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Trump emphasized the urgent need for peace, stressing that a global conflict between nuclear-armed powers could lead to “nuclear Armageddon.”

“We have never been closer to World War III than we are today,” Trump said, urging immediate action to prevent a catastrophic outcome. “Nothing is more important than avoiding that nightmare. We must have new leadership to stop this.”

Trump called for a complete cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, declaring that “every day this proxy battle continues, we risk global war.” He insisted that the only path to peace is a direct meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin, arguing that all fighting must end immediately.

In addition to urging peace talks, Trump reiterated his commitment to overhauling the U.S. foreign policy establishment, which he blames for perpetuating endless wars abroad. “We need to dismantle the globalist neocon establishment,” Trump declared. “Their endless conflicts have distracted from the real challenges facing America—such as our collapsing borders, rising crime, and the erosion of our values.”

Trump also pointed to the failure of the Biden administration to address domestic issues, claiming that the true threats to Western civilization come from within the U.S., not from Russia. He emphasized the importance of putting America first and reaffirmed his vision of a restructured NATO aligned with U.S. interests.

“We need leadership that will put our country first, not drag us into conflicts that do more harm than good,” Trump said, positioning himself as the leader capable of restoring America’s strength and prioritizing peace.

Trump concluded by asserting that he is the only candidate who can tackle these monumental issues. “Evicting this corrupt establishment is the task before us, and I am the only one who can get it done,” he added, preparing to assume office as the 47th President of the United States in January 2025.
