A Nobel Peace Prize is an award given to people who have made outstanding contributions to humanity in various fields such as physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, economics and peace.
A Bangladesh’s citizen was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for ‘pioneering the use of microcredit to help impoverished people and helping to lift millions out of poverty.’ Look at the reasons out for which he was awarded this prestigious accolade! In fact, he has no contributions in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, economics and peace anywhere in the world.
The Clinton Foundation located at New York City, a nonprofit charitable organization, has been running by the former US President Clinton and the former US Secretary of State Hillary. The Swedish Academy for Prize awarding for the Nobel Prize is situated in Sweden. Both Clinton and Hillary have ginormous moulding on the Swedish Academy. Bangladesh’s Nobel Peace Prize recipient has equally strong influence upon the Clinton-Hillary couple. The blackguard of Bangladesh donated about half a million of US Dollar to the Clinton Foundation, pulled in Clinton and Hillary in his favour who wielded an epic influence for that jackass on the Swedish Academy for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to him in 2006. Thus, he has earned name and fame across the world by manipulating and falsifying his cloak-and-dagger credentials and he has been able to come perspicaciously to the contacts of tangencies with the world leaders.
But the Nobel Peace Prize doesn’t guarantee legal exemption of any achiever from liability for damages.
As an example, Belarus jails Nobel winner Human rights activist Ales Bialiatski for 10 years. Bialiatski, who was arrested in 2021, and three co-defendants were charged with financing protests and smuggling money. Belarusian state news agency Belta confirmed the court had handed down long jail sentences to all the men, including a decade in prison for Bialiatski. The other three men convicted were Valentin Stefanovich, sentenced to nine years, Vladimir Labkovich to seven years, and Dmitry Solovyov, who received eight years.
Our one was also sentenced to six months in prison in January 2024 on a charge of violating labor laws for a US$2.3 million embezzlement case. The embezzlement case involves a workers welfare fund of Grameen Telecom, which he owns 34.2% of the country’s largest mobile phone company, Grameenphone, a subsidiary of Norway’s telecom giant Telenor.
A court in Bangladesh on 3 March 2024 granted bail to him on his appeal for the US$2.3 million embezzlement case.
Why do we ask if a Nobel Prize is a pity – an unblushing shame? Do we have a specific example in mind? But yes…
We live in a world where unfortunately the distinction between true and false appears to become increasingly blurred by manipulation of facts, by exploitation of uncritical minds, and by the pollution of the language by some Nobel Laureates like Prof Dr Muhammed Yunus.
Hillary and her mango-wigs are unblushing people lacking integrity, personality and an inelegance by virtue of being uncouth boors! Similar way, Yunus’s Janus-faced behaviour does not make a man of conscience, sooner or later, fraud gets exposed along with his buddies, and the fraudsters not only lose other esteem but also loses self-respect!!!
The-then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on 28 August, 2023 invited foreign experts and lawyers to assess and scrutinize the documents submitted against Professor Muhammad Yunus whether there were any injustice or inconsistency…It is foxing to note that they have chosen to remain silent. Rather, their immoral acts have created an impression that they took sides in the students’ anti-quota movement during July-August 2024 and the so-called political situation which was going on during those times. They must be condemned in the most abrasive language and ask them to begging pardon to Bangladesh’s great stateswoman Sheikh Hasina.
Now let us come to the focal point: Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammed Yunus has been carrying on intoxicated propaganda unflaggingly all over the world against PM Sheikh Hasina government when she was in power with the help of former US President Clinton and former US Secretary of State Hillary. Thus, he has been able to create a deliberately deceptive image of himself. He has been given the title “Banker of Poor.” But he is abruptly the otherwise loan shark person on the following grounds:
30% interest is taken from poor people whereas rich people give interest 9 – 12%;
Tried to usurp the rights of poor workers;
Caught evading state taxes by making false declarations; and
About US$500,000 donated to the Clinton Foundation.
A woman of Fatehpur village of Chattogrm, Bangladesh has taken money from a foreign organization by making up a story that she built a building with a Grameen Bank loan. Later a foreign journalist exposed this lie.
Yunus was illegally MD of Grameen Bank for 10 years; and Grameen Bank’s money has done many commercial institutions, Grameen Bank does not own anywhere. All his own.
But the declarants who have backed up Dr. Yunus do not know anything about all these facts. Therefore, the government and the private sectors will have to raise the misdeeds of Yunus in front of them. It is very important to unmask his devil face.
He has appealed to the higher court in Bangladesh and lost the tax evasion case. Self-donor and self-recipient, did he tell all these things to the declarants? Flim-flamming himself, he did not say anything to them! They would not sign the statement, if they were told the truth.
In his company’s law, he said that he will give 5% of the dividend to the workers. But he has forgotten the time of payment. They filed a case and collected BDT 4600 million. He went to the appellate division of the Supreme Court and lost the case. Do we know of this? He did not tell, he hid it. He went outside the law and was the MD of Grameen Bank for about ten years. Didn’t say that either.
He boastfully said that he was the poor people’s banker. He used to take 36% interest from the poor but did not tell them. If the declarants knew about this, they would not have signed the statement favouring Dr. Younu. Thus, he has tainted their faces also with dirt!
Has he ever stood by the common people of Bangladesh in disaster, danger, drought, flood? He did not stand, at all!
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that take the advice of the world’s best lawyer and deal with the case. “People say you have shown the ability to manage the Nobel Prize. So now manage the case too,” she then said.
She added “Mr. Laureate, the world is transparent, the constitution and laws are also transparent in Bangladesh. You are a world-famous person. I want you to obey the law. You will not be exempted by a statement. Now rather your favoured statement-holders will know and fear you. Be kind to country, people and yourself in your last age.”
Yunus then engaged in the statement trade in the country and abroad before 5 August 2024. Hundreds of statements have been obtained. These are not issues when a prominent person like Hillary is by his side. God knows what she signed. The statement-holders did not have time to delve into his social business or inquire about the case against him. The statement was also disputed earlier.
The Sheikh Hasina government should have published the details of all the cases issued against him and sent them to the declarants. This would expose his dirty character to the world.
It is shameless and at the same time, outrageous that more than 170 global leaders, not of the nobility and ungentle Nobel laureates urged Bangladesh’s prime minister Sheikh Hasina on August 28, 2023 to suspend legal proceedings against Muhammad Yunus.
During her times in Bangladesh’s power, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina responded by saying she would welcome international experts and lawyers to come to Bangladesh to assess the legal proceedings and examine documents involving the charges against Yunus.
“If they send the experts and lawyers, many more things will get revealed, which remain untouched. Many such things will come out,” Hasina said.
Before Sheikh Hasina’s forceful, illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional removal from power, the Association of Universities in Bangladesh and Dhaka University Teachers’ Association have expressed strong opposition to the appeal made by around 170 Nobel laureates and world leaders advocating for the suspension of the ongoing judicial proceedings against Dr Muhammad Yunus.
In separate press releases, they termed this appeal as a direct interference in the country’s judicial system. In their statement, the vice-chancellors within the Association of Universities in Bangladesh said the judiciary of Bangladesh operates with full independence under the rule of law. They stressed that decisions are made by the impartial judiciary based on evidence, leaving no room for any form of interference.
Making statements regarding ongoing trials without a proper understanding of Bangladesh’s legal system and judiciary constitutes an “unconstitutional intrusion” into the nation’s independent judiciary. Such actions can be likened to a threat against the sovereignty of Bangladesh as an independent and sovereign state, the press release said.
Fifty editors of the country’s leading newspapers also protested the issuance of an open letter by foreigners to Prime Minister Sheikh Hsian favoring Dr Muhammad Yunus, saying that it was an undue interference in the independent judiciary of a sovereign country.
“Some foreign noted personalities, including Nobel laureates, politicians, businessmen and civil society members, on August 28, 2023 issued an open letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, calling to stop the ongoing trial proceedings against Dr Muhammad Yunus under Bangladesh’s labour law. It is an undue interference in the independent judiciary of a sovereign country; we strongly protest it,” they said in a joint statement on September 2, 2023.
Noting that according to Article 94(4) of the country’s constitution, the judiciary of Bangladesh is completely independent, they said, “By issuing such a letter, we think they have unethically, illegally and unconstitutionally interfered in the independent judicial system of Bangladesh.”
Such statements or open letters completely go against the provisions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the laws of Bangladesh, safeguarding labour rights, the editors added.
Such statements and letters from the ‘globally famous and Nobel laureate’ personalities are unwanted and unethical, they said, adding the demand that one cannot be prosecuted or sued for committing crimes is contrary to the establishment of justice and the rule of law.
A military coup d’etat by Bangladesh army was forced to betide in Bangladesh on 5 August 2024 amply patronized by CIA-ISI-Yunus for their designed interests in connivance with their devilishly local cohorts which led to the downfall of HPM Sheikh Hasina from power.
When we consider the landscape of Bangladesh after 5 August 2024, under the puppet government led by Yunus installed by CIA-NED-IRI-ISIS-local extremum communal and reactionary rams which have despoiled and stripped all of our glorified achievements of 1971 and all of our people’s welfare-oriented – exalted and epic developmental structures constructed by HPM Sheikh Hasina, we can’t accept all these colossal misdeeds under any settings.
On and after 5 August 2024, Bangladesh has been occupied by the ferocious Bangla-speaking Pakistanis and stranded Bengalis prone to Pakistan like a varlet country under Yunus’s direct condescension. Under the present puppet government of the US in Bangladesh, almost all students and the extremum rightist cold-blooded fundamentalists have become have a screw loose to lying, looting, slaying, blazing, debauching, amassing vast fortune, and deathly unwilling to recognize and respect differences in opinions or beliefs of people of other religions except those improbable Moslems.
A fictitious narrative about July-August 2024 on the students’ anti-quota movement leading to HPM Sheikh Hasina’s downfall on 5 August 2024, even designedly labelling her a ‘fascist’, a ‘dictator’, et al, marked by deep ill will with a malicious motif.
98% murders during July-August 2024 were committed by Jamaati Shibir goons, their dreaded mango-twigs, other extremum Islamist Jihadists, et al, themselves under cloak-and-dagger to defame HPM Sheikh Hasina.
But the truths can’t be buried for a long time! There are so many video clippings now available which bear testimony to only those facts. The cogent evidences are abundantly available to prove Prof Dr. Muhammad Yunus led puppet government as guilty of goliath crimes.
