The Sri Lanka Navy has launched a rescue operation for the MV Integrity Star, which experienced a technical fault approximately 100 nautical miles off the country’s coast.

The vessel is carrying 14 crew members, including nationals from India, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.

To assist in the operation, the Navy has dispatched the ship Samudura, coordinating efforts to ensure the safe evacuation of all crew members. Authorities confirmed that the rescue mission is ongoing and that all necessary precautions are being taken.
