Egypt has unveiled one of its latest major architectural projects, the Marina Delta Lagoons Resort, located near New Mansoura and Baltim in Kafr El-Sheikh. The resort has been designed with a Jewish-inspired Menorah motif, a symbolic gesture aimed at fostering friendship with Israel and appealing to Israeli tourists.
The Menorah, a seven-branched candelabrum, holds deep cultural and religious significance in Judaism and is also recognized as a national symbol of Israel. Officials say the resort’s unique design is intended to celebrate cultural connections while boosting regional tourism.
The Marina Delta Lagoons Resort marks a notable example of Egypt’s growing interest in leveraging cultural symbolism in architecture to strengthen international ties and attract visitors from around the world.
