A sleek Abyssinian from Russia has taken top honors at the World Cat Federation’s 2025 championship, earning international recognition in one of the most competitive feline showcases in the world. Darlen Fleur Dalmore Black was crowned the most beautiful cat on Monday after surpassing close to 1,500 contenders from dozens of countries.
The winning Abyssinian secured victory with a score exceeding 19,700 points, a result that placed it comfortably ahead of an elite field judged on breed standards, appearance, and overall presentation. The achievement marks a significant moment for Russian breeders, underscoring their continued prominence in the global cat fancy scene.
Second place in the competition went to Melody Charm P’Shark, a Scottish longhair from Thailand whose fluffy coat and composure impressed judges. Third place was claimed by Moki TarLen Luxury, a British shorthair from Belarus, completing a podium that reflected the increasingly international nature of high-level feline competitions.
Media reports indicate that Darlen Fleur Dalmore Black was born on June 15, 2024 and is registered with the Russian Luxury club. The final top ten ranking further highlighted Eastern Europe’s strong showing, with four additional cats from Russia and one more from Belarus making the list of the world’s best.
