Iranian intelligence officials announced the confiscation of a significant shipment of Starlink terminals and other advanced electronic equipment, claiming the devices were intended for use in anti-government protests and sabotage operations. The seizure occurred in provinces experiencing widespread unrest, as the country continues to grapple with demonstrations against the ruling regime.

According to the announcement, the shipment originated from a “neighboring country” and was reportedly destined for regions near sensitive military and missile installations. Iranian authorities have stated that possession of a Starlink terminal has been treated as evidence of espionage since last year’s 12-day conflict involving Israel and the United States.
