Concerns are reportedly growing within the White House about President Donald Trump’s cognitive abilities, according to investigative journalist Seymour Hersh. In a recent blog post, Hersh cited unnamed sources close to the administration who pointed to what they describe as clear signs of mental decline.
Hersh’s sources claim that Trump has displayed increasing mental disorganization, including rambling speeches, apparent confusion during high-level meetings, and difficulty “reading the room.”
During a recent address to military leaders, the president reportedly diverged from the topic at hand, offering a mixture of self-praise, unusual claims, and a critique of former President Joe Biden’s use of an autopen to sign decrees, rather than focusing on the meeting’s agenda.
These observations have reportedly prompted concern among some government officials over whether Trump is fully capable of managing complex domestic and international issues.
The White House has not publicly commented on these reports.
