Hai Robotics, a global leader in intelligent warehouse automation systems, has announced the appointment of Thomas Gwee as its new Regional Head for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), as the company accelerates its expansion in response to surging demand for automation solutions across the region.

Gwee, who brings more than 20 years of experience in material handling and warehouse logistics, previously served as Project Implementation Director for Southeast Asia at Hai Robotics. In that role, he oversaw the deployment of more than 200 HaiPick robotic units, consistently exceeding project goals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

His career includes leadership roles at Crown Equipment and SSI Schaefer, where he developed extensive expertise in automated storage, order fulfillment, and system integration. With this background, Hai Robotics believes Gwee is well positioned to strengthen its market presence in ANZ and deliver high-impact automation solutions to businesses across retail, logistics, and manufacturing.
